About Us

Matrius Technologies was created in 2020 as a spin-off company of PULETS, Piezoelectricity, Ultrasonics technologies and Materials Laboratory of ÉTS.

It was founded by the former CEO of CAE Healthcare and business owner Dr. Robert Amyot, and by Pr. Pierre Bélanger from École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montréal.

Based on successful research projects and promising technologies, our ambition is to become the birth place of new ultrasonic innovations.  Our mission is to enhance the safety of people and infrastructures in both the industrial and medical field by ultrasound means. 

To support its development, the company is currently powered by the Propulsion program at Centech. 

Matrius is also one of the 20 selected Revelations that join Startup Montreal in 2022.
