Sévan Bouchy
Co-Founder & CEO
Sévan Bouchy is co-founder and CEO of Matrius Technologies. He received his M. Eng. from Arts & Métiers ParisTech, Paris, France and his M.A.Sc from École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montréal, QC, Canada both in Mechanical Engineering in 2019. His areas of expertise are materials science and the construction of ultrasonic probes for high temperature and ionizing environments.

Baptiste Gauthier
Co-Founder & COO
Baptiste Gauthier is co-founder and COO of Matrius Technologies. He received his M. Eng. from Arts & Métiers ParisTech, Paris, France and his M.A.Sc from École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), Montréal, QC, Canada both in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. During his M.A.Sc he specialized in ultrasonic NDT and has developped strong knowledge in ultrasonic guided waves and phased array imaging. Over the years, he also developped skills in computer science, management and marketing.

Dr. Robert Amyot
Co-founder & Chairman of the Board
Dr. Robert Amyot is co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Matrius Technologies since inception. He co-founded Vimedix Inc. in 2007 and was CEO until the company was acquired by CAE in January 2010. He held a number of executive positions at CAE Healthcare, serving as President from April 2014 to April 2019.

Pr. Pierre Bélanger
Co-founder & CTO
Prof. Pierre Belanger is co-founder and CTO of Matrius Technologies. He has been a professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at École de technologie supérieure since 2013.
Professor Belanger received his Ph.D. from the NDT Research Group, Imperial College London, London, U.K., in 2010. He has been a Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, École de technologie supérieure (ETS), Montreal, QC, Canada, since 2013. His current research interest focuses on novel applications of ultrasonic bulk and guided waves as well as the development of innovative transducers. He currently supervises a group of 25 graduate students and has published over 60 peer-reviewed or conference papers. He collaborates with a wide range of companies from equipment manufacturers, to service providers and large original equipment manufacturers in the automotive and aerospace industries. Prof. Belanger is currently the Chairman of the Olympus Industrial Research Chair on Ultrasonic Nondestructive Testing.
